Initial Impressions:

Nice looking cigar, great band artwork. Nice smelling wrapper and foot. Cap not properly secured, lifted when punching. Cold draw nice

First Third Notes:

Spice on first few puffs, nice thick smoke, creamy. Body edges medium I think. Perfect draw.

Second Third Notes:

Had a brief taste of either citrus or dried fruit. Gone before I could tell for sure. Excellent smoke and burn. Hint of butter since half-way point. Band glued to wrapper and tore some off.

Finishing Notes:

Leather and spice kicked in at start of last third. Almost full-body.

Review:

Very nice cigar. Should have been closer to a 90 rating but the cap and band glue cost it. Not too mild but also not very complex in first half. Copious thick smoke with an excellent burn. Stronger and more interesting past mid-stick, mostly spice probably because of the combination of Connecticut wrapper and Nicaraguan filler. Might be strong for a new smoker. Great afternoon smoke.
