Review:
Bought a size sampler of 20 from Holt's that brought price to $7/stick. Not a fan of the flattened boxed-pressed shape - like an oval, just weird in the hand. Great smelling through the first third, strong. Burns surprisingly hot at this stage. Spice and black pepper came in strongly at the beginning of the last third. Earth and leather throughout the stick. Big surprise at the nub - definitely tasted cinnamon and nutmeg. This was a very good smoke, definitely medium-full to full body.
Tasted Flavors:
Cocoa/Chocolate, Earth, Leather, Pepper (Black), Spice (General), Wood
Drink Pairing:
Modelo Negra - rather have whiskey whisky or rum
