Initial Impressions:

This stick did not have any of the problems my first reviewed cigar did. This one had no holes and had a perfect cut.

First Third Notes:

Pepper, cinnamon, other baking spices up to the first inch, then noticed nuttiness, cocoa, and coffee. The blend of flavors made me think of milk chocolate and a sweet cappuccino.

Second Third Notes:

Milk chocolate cappuccino, toast and nuttyiness. Lots of smoke, perfect draw.

Finishing Notes:

Pretty consistent with second third, a bit of cinnamon again.

Review:

Thankfully I grabbed a second one of these to try, and what a difference! Perfect appearance, perfect draw, nearly perfect burn, lots of smoke. Very complex flavors. Body pushing medium this time around. This cigar had almost nothing in common with my first smoke of this blend. This one was definitely stronger than I'd want in a morning cigar with coffee. Thankfully I did the opposite and made this an after dinner smoke and really enjoyed it. The tasting notes were almost too complex, as they layered and blended to point that I had a hard time picking out individual flavors. Now I need to smoke more of these to get a better understanding of the blend and to determine their consistency.

Tasted Flavors:

Butter, Cinnamon, Cocoa/Chocolate, Coffee (Mocha), Cream, Nutty, Pepper (White), Toast

Drink Pairing:

Woodford Reserve smoked with cherry wood
